hello second wind fam and happiest new year to you all < 3 sending the biggest love to everyone who’s surviving this holiday season. candidly it’s the roughest time of year for me, so i’m sending lots and lots of love and warmth to anyone who feels the same. i’m grateful for my human rocks and my sweet pup who make it possible to get through to january, aka TODAY! HAPPY NEW YEAR! cue imessage fireworks lol. 2026, dang/weeeeee! hope ya rang it in however felt right - with a big ole smooch, with ya loved ones, solo, while snoozin/dreamin, watchin tv, eatin good, etc. i love y’all !!!!! i wish for y’all the year you dream of having < 3

……. the rumors are true - we’re back for season 2!! the show returns this sunday, january 4 from 6-8p featuring very special guest……… annie !!!!!! one of the brightest souls i’ve had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with over the last few years. annie is a great friend, neighbor pal, fellow dog mom (s/o taki, my goat), and a clear and true creative spirit. when you meet her you feel it instantly, she’s bursting with the energy!! and she loves music so, so much, and is so moved by it - she’s always HYPE to hear something new, to share it and learn everything about it. she gets it!! #samewavelength : ) we’ve shared some truly special moments over song since we’ve met (a sick poison girlfriend show, swapping grown and sexy songs on text, floor karaoke, a special car ride to the beach, etc.).
and in life, we’ve bonded over what it feels and looks like to be moving through our early-mid thirties, a tender time when it feels like everything around us is (still?) changing, as we somehow, simultaneously, inch closer to the clearest understandings of ourselves. we’ve talked a lot about working hard to hear and listen to our creative urges, and to find ways to express ourselves through mediums that we might not have considered in years past - an ongoing exercise in finding our most authentic “language” of expression, which feels less scary when you have the support and encouragement of friends along the way : )
