second wind fammmmmily - we have made it! dispatch 3 of 3 of this week is here! thank you for your attention and for listening, for the enthusiastic texts and ig story replies lol, and irl kindness around these two recent shows going up with respective interviews/tracklists! s/o cj and annie for the quick turnaround and for each of your thoughtful responses and annotations : ) in a funny turn of events, this week my second wind is… second wind! LOL! i rly love doing this show, of course (it’s my happy place!!), but adding some more depth and umph (?) with the email interviews and annotated tracklists makes everything feel more whole and even more beautiful. i’ve realized how much i missed editing (so fun hehe) and also connecting with/learning more about people through interviews (i luv interviewing so much lol). < 3

that’s right folks ……. the show returns this sunday, march 1 from 6-8p featuring very special guest……… sukanya !!!!!! she’s bringing her show alloy hour to second wind this month : ) i am so lucky to have her join me, this feels many months in the making! she’s come to the lot to hang and support second wind irl, and i’m hype that this time she’ll be joining behind the decks. it’s been such a pleasure to get to know her over the last year and change through our mutual friends - bonding over ice cream scoops, dinners, shows, and sweet hangs. she is a bright light and generous, warm spirit < 3 and a talented selector (tap into her monthly show on 8ball!!) and dj (playing at brooklyn museum in march!) whose musical tastes i admire. she’s also a fantastic baker!! all my fellow baker bbs stand up!! be sure to tune in live 6-8p est on thelotradio.com, or join us in person and show some love IRL < 3 dets below!!
